I contracted HSV 2 from my abusive ex boyfriend over a year ago. He obviously never told me he had it. Thank God I found out that he gave it to me AFTER I finally got the courage to leave him. As naive as I was he would have convinced me I had given it to him, rather than him giving it to me. This man was almost twice my age and I knew he had been with probably 100's of girls. I was worried for months that he had given me HIV or Hepatitis C.
